Action group for Universal Credit in Clacks

A local MP has requested a meeting with a UK Government minister to discuss Universal Credit.
Luke Graham wants to ask the Department for Work and Pensions how improvements can be measured.
Mr Graham launched an Action Group last year, to identify issues with the benefit locally.
He said, “Universal Credit received cross-party support when it was first rolled out across the UK.
“Although there have been issues with its introduction here in Clackmannanshire, I set up the Action Group specifically to help address those issues.
“I was therefore pleased to have the support of the Minister in the action we as a group are taking, and I will follow up with minister for further next steps.
“In the meantime, if anyone is experiencing any issues please do get in touch with my office so we can provide you with the help you may need.”
