Dial-a-Journey are currently looking to fill the following vacancies:

Driver Vacancy

Dial-a-Journey currently has vacancies for several Minibus Drivers across the Forth Valley.

There are full time and part time positions available, with an hourly rate of £12 per hour and an immediate start. Dial-a-Journey are a real living wage employer.

Applicants will be expected to hold an entitlement to drive a minibus (Category D1), with no more than 6 points on their driving licence. Possession of a category D or D1 PCV minibus will be a distinct advantage, but training to acquire D1 PCV licence entitlement may be available.

All applicants are required to undertake a Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) check (for which Dial-a-Journey will pay).

Applicants must be able to move and handle wheelchairs on a regular basis. Dial-a-Journey’s customer base is wide and varied, and includes working with adults with mobility impairments, to providing schools and other education transport. A caring, friendly and responsible attitude is essential.

Full training will be given during induction, with ongoing on the job training.

Operations Manager Vacancy

Stirling based Order of Malta Dial-a-Journey Trust is Forth Valleys largest Community Transport Operator delivering over 40,000 passenger journeys a year on behalf of 3 local authorities, further education colleges, NHS Forth Valley, Health and Social Care Partnerships and a number of voluntary sector organisations.

They are looking to recruit a full time Operations Manager to add to their Senior Management Team. Offering a competitive salary.

The Operations Manager will be a key member of the Management Team, whose role will be to oversee and assist with ensuring all aspects of operational integrity are maintained. In addition to these duties, the postholder will be expected to ensure that the charity remains compliant with legislation of varying natures.

The post holder will need to demonstrate experience in managing budgets. In addition to supporting the SMT and other Teams, the postholder will also support the Board of Trustees in its work. Experience of managing and supporting staff is essential to the role.
