Health bosses are urging people across the Forth Valley to be vaccinated against flu and Covid-19.
Nearly 1.5 million vaccines have been given out across Scotland so far this winter.
An increase in the number of people experiencing coughs, colds and flu-like symptoms is expected this winter.
The winter vaccination programme this year is focused on protecting people who are most vulnerable.
It includes older adults, and people with underlying health conditions.
Fiona Coan, NHS Forth Valley’s Immunisation Manager, said: “Vaccination remains the best way to protect yourself and others and we’re pleased to see so many people across Forth Valley are coming forward to take up the offer.
“Evidence shows that the flu virus changes over time and COVID-19 vaccine protection fades. The vaccinations offered this season can top up your protection against severe illness from flu and COVID-19.
“Those that have not yet received their vaccines are strongly encouraged to come forward and make an appointment. We also advise checking www.nhsforthvalley.com/vaccines for local arrangements.”
