A new study has highlighted child poverty rates in the UK.
Loughborough University carried out the research which estimates more than 1 in 5 children are living in poverty in Scotland.
Just over 20% of children in Falkirk and 18% in Stirling - are said to be living in poverty.
- Falkirk: 3,921 (estimated) children in poverty.
- Stirling: 2,617 (estimated) children in poverty.
Glasgow City Council had the highest child poverty rates in Scotland with an estimated 28,909 children falling into this category.
Overall, it's around 187,000 children in Scotland.
