Falkirk Council is taking over Falkirk Community Trust services from today.
Over the last 12 months, work has been ongoing to transfer all Falkirk Community Trust services to the local council.
This includes work to look after the Kinneil Estate, local libraries, and community gyms.
The Falkirk Stadium is also due to fall under the Council's ownership during the next year.
Council officials say customers shouldn't see any difference.
A Falkirk Council spokesperson said:
“A significant amount of work has been carried out behind the scenes by Falkirk Council and Falkirk Community Trust to ensure a smooth transition on 1 April. This work will continue at the highest levels and will ensure that Falkirk Council can benefit from the expert knowledge and experience of colleagues in Falkirk Community Trust in helping to take the organisation forward. Customers shouldn’t see any difference in how their services are delivered and we will continue to deliver high quality services in the future.”
