Fines are set to given out from 18th August for people in Falkirk who park on pavements, or at crossing points.
The local authority is enforcing new legislation.
Falkirk Council's Executive will discuss the issue at the start of May.
It includes penalties for parking on pavements or dropped kerbs.
The fine is £100, reduced to £50 if paid within 14 days.
Similar fines are already in place in Stirling.
Warning notices have been issued over the last 12 months.
