University strike action suspended

Strike action at the University of Stirling has been suspended - after members of the UCU trade union received an offer.

Lecturers walked out, after being docked pay during a marking boycott.

85% of UCU members at the University accepted the offer.

Classes are back to normal from today (Thursday 21st September).

The deal is a flat ex gratia payment - equivalent to five days of annual leave.
