NHS vaccination programme postponed

An NHS Forth Valley scheme, offering free flu jabs for primary school kids, has been postponed.
NHS Forth Valley’s stopped its winter vaccination programme for Primary 4 to Primary 7 schoolkids.
It’s due to a UK-wide shortage of the nasal spray vaccines.
The health board’s taken advice from the Scottish Government to put the programme on hold.
An NHS Forth Valley spokesperson says they’ll continue to provide vaccinations for 2 to 5 year olds – and the adult flu vaccine rollout will not be affected.
