    Sunday Afternoon with Gemma McLean

We managed to keep Gemma awake long enough to ask her some very important questions:

Five things we don’t know about you

    • I have a very specific set of skills
    • I can play the harp
    • I can wield a pair of chopsticks causing devastation to even the trickiest grain of rice
    • I can’t sing
    • I have a constant, insatiable craving for popcorn

What do you love about the Forth Valley?

It’s just such a beautiful place. I love getting to see the Ochils every day and the man-made wonders like the Kelpies and Stirling Castle are excellent too.

Tell me what I need to know?

I like very big hikes, adventures, travelling, doing things that I haven’t done before, David Bowie, my tent and food. Most importantly food – it’s the best thing.

Do you have any irrational fears?

    Irrational? No. Rational: chainsaws.

    What’s your favourite movie?

Stardust. It’s got everything. Stars, pirates, witches, swash-buckling moments, funny bits, a unicorn and Mark Strong. It was also written by Neil Gaiman. What more could you possibly want from a film?

Do you have any gossip about another Central FM presenter?

    Joe doesn’t like cake! I mean…what?!

Do or did you have any nicknames?

Gemmy-Dodger and Geminem. Unfairly, both nicknames make me hungry.

What has been your most embarrassing on air moment?

I forgot the name of a celebrity when I was in the middle of talking about them…and I can’t remember now which celebrity it was either!

    Favourite Song?

Oh come on, that’s just mean! Fine. You Know My Name by Chris Cornell…because sometimes you need to feel like you’re James Bond.

    Night in or night out?

    In!

At the initial stage of the valtrexlab.com herpes the loading dose is 2 tablets of 500 mg 2 times a day. You can take them for 3 – 5 days. It really helps, the healing effect is immediately noticeable. It cures simple herpes and including the genital one. I definitely recommend it to anyone who has the same problem.
If you didn’t work at Central FM what would be doing?A careers advisor once told me I should have been a doctor…but given that I can’t do any of the sciences or maths I think the world is a safer place with me staying far, far away from the medical profession.

    I love 103.1 Central FM because…?

I get to play great songs and you can’t beat local radio!
