The First Minister’s announced that MSPs will hold a vote on the use of covid vaccine passports at Holyrood next week.
If approved, the document or QR code would be required for adults to enter the following:
- unseated indoor live events – with over 500 people
- unseated outdoor live events – with over 4,000 people
- any event with over 10,000 people
Nicola Sturgeon says the government does not believe they should ever be a requirement for key services such as public transport.
The move is expected to happen later this month and has already been introduced in England.
