Scotland’s Coronavirus Measures Over Christmas

The Scottish Government have announced new guidance to social gathering numbers.
The First Minister has stated that socialising should be limited to up to 3 households.
This will not be law – but advised by the Scottish Government.
The advisory will not be in place for Christmas Eve/Day and Boxing Day.
In addition to this, businesses are being asked to employ stronger coronavirus saftey measures. These include: contact tracing, mask wearing, capacity limits on customers and stricter social distancing measures.
Rishi Sunak has confirmed that additional funding is being sent to Scotland to support the business sector and vaccine/booster programme during the festive season.
Furthermore, those aged 18 and over in Scotland are eligible to book their booster vaccines from tomorrow, 15th December.
