A Holyrood Committee wants to hear from local business from across the Forth Valley, to find out their thoughts on business rates.
An open meeting is being held at the Engine shed in Stirling on Tuesday, for local business to assist an inquiy into the Non-Domestic Rates Bill.
The Committee is also reaching out to community figures to help scrutinise the legislation.
Convener of the Local Government and Communities Committee, James Dornan MSP, said:
“This visit to Stirling provides a great opportunity to hear from local businesses and community figures.
“We want to find out what impact the current rates system has on the local high street and local businesses and how it could be improved.
“Hearing the direct experience of local businesses in the Stirling area will be immensely helpful as we continue our scrutiny of this legislation and I’d urge you to get in touch if you would like to attend the meeting.”
