Appeal for responsible parking after emergency incident at Sauchie Juniors

Sauchie Juniors are urging their fans to park responsibly - after an ambulance struggled to reach the ground last night.

A fan was taken unwell during their 3-1 win against Blackburn United.

However, emergency services found it difficult accessing the ground to reach the supporter.

In a statement, the club said:

"Sadly at tonight's match we had an incident with a supporter taking not well and requiring an ambulance firstly thank you to everyone who provided support with this situation it is greatly appreciated, everyone worked together to handle the situation. Secondly we would like to wish the supporter an extremely speedy recovery and we hope to see them back at Beechwood when fully recovered!

Sadly we experienced issues being able to get the ambulance up to the ground with cars parking on the entrance to the emergency access road. This is not acceptable and we ask that you please use common sense and park considerately when visiting Beechwood Park this may sound harsh but in an emergency having clear access can make a massive difference!

For those who don't know this is the access road on the right hand side of the car park which leads up to the big red gate please ensure this is kept clear."
