Climate protestors are blocking fuel leaving Grangemouth.
"This is Rigged" have blocked a car park full of tankers, while 11 people are in the access road to the site.
The terminal provides around 70% of Scotland's fuel supply.
Explaining why she took action today, Emma Brown, 32, a community worker based in Glasgow said:
“We're not asking passively anymore - this is too important. We are demanding the Scottish Government stand up for what's right and oppose all new oil and gas projects and use the devolved powers they have to retrain our workers. We want decent jobs on a liveable planet. Tír means "land over water", we know much of our country is at risk of flooding. We don't want this land over water to go under. We don't consent to our resources used to fuel the fires burning around the world right now and in our own country last month.”
Frances Moore, 61, from South Queensferry said:
“I am furious that the powers that be are willing to sacrifice our Earth in exchange for their greed and monetary gain. They'll be dead soonish anyway and won't be able to take their filthy money with them....leaving behind a burnt out and uninhabitable planet.”
