MSPs have backed a suspension for Falkirk West MSP Michael Matheson.
He will be banned for 27 days - the longest ever suspension given out at the Scottish Parliament.
Matheson's salary will also be frozen for 54 days.
The former Health Secretary racked up nearly £11,000 in roaming costs on a parliamentary iPad while on holiday.
It follows a report by a Scottish Parliament committee.
Matheson resigned as Health Secretary in February, after the figures came to light.
He apologised, and paid back the full amount.
