Hundreds of jobs at the oil refinery in Grangemouth are at risk.
Petroineos has announced plans to close the refinery by spring 2025.
The site would become an oil import and export terminal.
It's being reported workers at the plant are to meet with bosses today, amid the uncertainty over their futures.
The refinery supplies around two-thirds of the fuel for Scotland's petrol stations.
It also distributes petrol and diesel to Northern England and Northern Ireland.
