Murray to retire after Olympics

Andy Murray has confirmed that the Olympics will be his final tournament.

The three-time Grand Slam winner has written on social media that he's arrived in Paris for his "last ever" competition in the sport.

Murray says that competing for Britain has been "the most memorable weeks of my career and I'm extremely proud to do it one final time".

He's won two Olympic gold medals - including winning gold in the men's singles at London 2012.

The Dunblane star leaves the sport with three Grand Slams to his name.

He announced earlier this year that this summer was likely to be "his last" before retiring.
