A report says Stirling Council is facing a budget deficit of nearly £13 million next year.
The local authority is debating a report today, which says the medium term sustainability of Stirling Council is at "significant" risk.
The deficit is forecast to rise to more than £17 million in 2025.
Stirling Council has already made £6.5 million worth of savings this year.
The report says rising transport and energy costs, and inflation pressures, have increased the money Stirling Council has spent on services.
