Review of Christie Clock demolition

Work to demolish the Christie Clock should have been paused - to seek advice from senior officers.

That's the findings of a review by Stirling Council.

The landmark was demolished at the start of September, after being deemed at risk of collapse by engineers.

A report, which will be discussed today, says the demolition should have been paused.

Engineers were unable to strap the clock head.

Stirling Council has confirmed they're "committed" to rebuilding and restoring the landmark.
