Rise in train delays

One in eight trains to Falkirk Grahamston have been delayed over the last 12 months.

Figures from a Freedom of Information request by Central FM News shows a rise in the number of delayed trains.

12.2% of all services arriving at Falkirk Grahamston between 1st April 2023 to 31st March this year were late by five minutes or more.

That's nearly 4,000 services in the last year.

Just 3.1% of trains were late between April 2022 and March 2023.

4.5% of trains to Stirling were late - while 3.6% of Alloa services were delayed.
